Your message is one of the most important parts of your campaign. It's what will be shared from your supporters' social media accounts at your campaign's end date and time.
A Thunderclap message has a 116-character limit. You only need to put your actual message text in this field; we'll auto-insert your message link into the message, so don't worry about adding it in here!
A few tips and reminders:
- Keep your message simple and actionable! Try to avoid too many specifics in your message, like dates and times.
- Consider writing your message in first person (e.g. "Join me in honoring veterans this month"). It will be appearing from your supporters' own accounts, so it should feel a bit more natural.
- Use a hashtag! This is a great way to track the conversation around your message and overall initiative.
- In accordance with our platform agreement with Twitter, Twitter handles (@ mentions) are not permitted in Thunderclap messages, even if it's your own handle.
